Wednesday was a night of great food, entertainment and celebrations at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in downtown Indianapolis. “Dance, entertainment, culture. It’s all coming together and celebrating a night together,” said founder Raju Chinthala. Chinthala started the Indiana India Business Council in 2016. Since then, the number of Indian-owned businesses have grown exponentially in Indiana.
Raju Chinthala was honored with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for his multifaceted contributions and services to Indiana and India relations at the fourth annual Indiana India Gala hosted by the Indiana India Business Council.
The Indiana India Business Council will recognize two honorees this year with the prestigious “Indiana Ratna” (Jewel of Indiana) award – James A. Schellinger, former Indiana Commerce Secretary and current Ambassador of Global Relations at Butler University and Sudhakar Gande, Founder and Chairman, U.S. India SME Council, and Chairman, FICCI Committee on Aerospace and Defense.
